How bad are the crowds that week? What are the temps? My dh can get that week off or the 4th of July week ( which I can not get the 4th off) so my question is will I be warm Thanksgiving week? I need warm swimming weather. ( I hate going in cold pools or getting out in to the cold) Please help also with the crowds! Thanks :grouphug:

We did Thanksgiving this year. It was COLD! And we are from Colorado, so we are used to the cold. It even snowed in the area one day. However, I think it was an unusual week.

The shorts we packed never left our suitcases. We did long pants and t-shirts with a sweatshirt or light coat for the evenings.

That is going to stink real bad!!!!!!! I hope it dose not snow! How were the crowds?

The temps can be really different, and thats just one week. It went from mid to high 90s, to low 40s in just three days when we were there in middle Oct.

It is really hard to say. Florida is weird. We are right now supposed to be having lows in the 50's and highs in the 70's. Instead we have lows in the 70's and highs in the 80's. Thanksgiving week wasnt supposed to be as cold as it was. But yes, it snowed in Orlando. Flurries. Will it be cold? If we knew that do you think we'd be wasting times telling people on the message boards? I'd be sitting in front of a lotto machine predicting numbers.
Historically....no its not supposed to be cold. But then again, it is Universal and they cant control the weather like disney does.

We were at Uniersal 2004. The crowds were almost nonexistent until the Friday after Thanksgiving. We were quite surprised Thanksgiving day to find the parks so manageable.

We have been in Orlando six years for Thanksgiving and have been able to swim during the day even when the nights were cold. We didn't go this year, though, and seeing the cool temps on the internet made us feel better about being home :teeth: It was actually warmer here!
