Thanksgiving in NYC, How much can you do and see in less than 4 days?

Just finished your TR, I had found it a while ago and thought I responded then but I guess I didn't. It sounds like it was a fun trip. That was a great viewing area for the parade.

NYC is a fun city to visit. We went there back in November 2013 (just before Thanksgiving) when we were going on a cruise on the Norwegian Gem. DH's Aunt lives in Astoria and we flew in and his Uncle came to pick us up at the airport and then took us to the port for the cruise. We spent a couple days with them and they took us on a whirlwind tour of the city, we saw the 9/11 Memorial, it was so neat and moving to be there. The Tower was only partially finished and I don't think the Museum was open yet. They did have some displays set up in the gift shop.

Thanks for reading.
I have a goal of taking a cruise out of NYC some day too

I just read your trip report all the way through. What a wonderful way to spend Thanksgiving. Your pictures are wonderful. I loved the pics of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I am in the same boat as you as you see a person on the float and know they must be famous but have no idea who they are. :rotfl2: That is so me! Great trip report and I hope you have a great cruise. I'll be looking for that one as well.

Thanks for reading! It was a really fun way to spend Thanksgiving. My sister asked me the other day ifI was going to join them as they go up into Michigan to shop on black Friday...and I go.. Hmm what did we do last year? oh yeah!!

Whew, I just went back and read the whole thing. You guys always pack a lot into your trips and I enjoy reading about everything that you see and do. Have you started a new trip report yet? I didn't see it in your signature.
