Thanksgiving ideas

Help? My family of 4, plus another family of 4 are looking for something to do for Thanksgiving. I want to drive, not fly (we are in San Francisco).

We were thinking of DLR, but now we are thinking of saving it for an off weekend in February and doing something else for TG. Not too expensive hopefully...

I don't really want to drive as far south as San Diego... but I might. Ideally LA area or central coast.... We may go north of SF as well.

Any suggestions of something fun to do for TG!!?? Tuesday-Saturday probably...
