Thanksgiving Icebreakers

DH family is invited for Thanksgiving - we aren't close and only see each other at weddings and funerals. I'm having a buffet thanksgiving meal. I want to have something on the table to entertain people. Like a jar of jellybeans and you guess how many (winner keeps the candy) or a pumpkin and you guess the weight (winner gets a $5 target GC)

Can anyone think of any other things I can have along these lines?

I know there are creative people on these boards.....

I know of a game you put on the table its like a deck of cards I can't remember the name of it I think it asks questions, wish I were more help I heard it was a good conversation starter.

We got one of the Table Topics ones and it is pricey but lots of fun.

The tree! Every year we take a peice of brown tag board and make a tree. We cut out leaves (or print) with the words "Im thankful for," and then put them on a table by the door. Everyone fills out two and hangs them on the tree. We then read them and try to guess who's who. sometimes its easy to figure out in our family (my aunt likes to put Im thankful for hot sex on there. )

nothing breaks the ice like a game of charades..

When we go to a friends house on New Years Eve, this game is played and its always alot of fun.. wonderful ice breaker!

When my in-laws come for a visit, a few shots of tequila usually breaks the ice!!!!

Trivial Pursuit cards on the table can be fun, too! We have a restaurant in town that does this - just 25 or so cards in a basket on the table - gets everyone involved!
