Thanksgiving-Holiday "must sees"

I just made a Thanksgiving reservation for WDW. I land on Thanksgiving day and arrive at WDW around 5PM, check in at the Swan and then leave for the airport 24 hours later. I'm at WDW a lot, so I don't need to do any rides. But I've never been at WDW during the holidays. I know it's going to be unbelievabley crowded, but this is my first holiday season alone and I didn't want to spend it at home. What are the "must see" and experience Holiday things that I could possibly do in 24 hours?

From what I see and read on these boards, a must see is the decorations in the GF, WL and the parks, including the Osborne Lights in MGM. I have never been during the holidays and I want to spend one day just hopping from resort to resort to see the decorations. Especially the GF and the WL tree.

I'll be there for Thanksgiving and read on here that the Osborne lights won't be up this year..
But I think going to the different resorts to see the Christmas decorations will be fun!
