Thanksgiving Fares

Hi everyone,

Just looking for some advice --- i'm looking at scheduling my trip home for thanksgiving, but airfaire seems horribly high right now!! Southwest had nothing for PHX - BDL for my dates, and the other airlines started at about $350.

Should I book now, or wait? I've gotten $200 flights back and forth to AZ for thanksgiving before, but I don't want to not be able to get home either.

Have you tried America West?
They've lowered their fares for Thanksgiving week this past week.

What dates are you looking at? If it's the tradional Wed - Sun I would not expect them to go lower only higher. Other days over the weekend are anyones guess, but those are the two busiest travel days of the year which does not give the airlines much reason to put those dates on sale.

yea, I was looking wed night - sunday. ASU only gives us off thursday and friday, and i have 3 classes wed that I can't skip.

Try Thursday. We had good luck booking on Thanksgiving day. Since most people want to travel on Wed you might have better luck.
