Thanksgiving Dinner

I will be traveling to Disney for Thanksgiving this year. My family would still like to have a "traditional" Turkey Dinner. We are not sure if we want to eat in the park or out. I did hear that Liberty Tree Tavern might be the place to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We're staying at the BCV, so we have reservations at the Cape May. I'm sure you'll enjoy wherever you choose to eat.

Lou. LTT is an great place for TG dinner, but like you, I'm not so sure I want to be in MK that day (way too crowded).... You've got a few weeks to decide, before the 60-day PS window, but probably only hour(s) to actually book. TG dinner at LTT will sell out fast.

Last year we didn't book our dinner until about 1 month prior, and had to "settle" for the YC/BC Convention Center... In fact the buffet there is outstanding, although the atmosphere is not very homey.

Suggestion: Book a non-park restaurant ASAP... If you decide later to go for LTT, then change your ressie. The longer you wait, the more limited your choices.

Thank you thats a great idea. Do you think because its Thanksgiving most restaurants will be offering a Turkey Dinner. If my father doesn't have Turkey on Thanksgving there will be no living with him for the rest of the trip. LOL

Lou - last year b/c of our large group 10 and calling after the 60 day window we "settled" for Spoodles on the Boardwalk. We had the option of ordering a traditional turkey dinner or from their regular dinner menu. It worked out perfectly as everyone could eat as they wanted. We found out that almost all the sit-down restaurants offer this option. So don't worry your Dad won't go w/o his turkey no matter where you decide to eat!!
