Thanksgiving dinner

Does anyone know where I might find a typical Thanksgiving dinner in Orlando?

I'm not sure about this but I think I remember reading a post that said if you wanted to eat at your vacation home you could go to Publix and order a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal. They would prepare the whole thing and you would just take it home and serve it. I don't know for sure about that.
CrackerBarrel might do a Thanksgiving dinner. It has "down home" type meals.

I have asked this question previously....I think that we will be ordering from Boston Market and celebrating our Thanksgiving dinner at the hotel.

The best Thanksgiving dinner meal, and we have been many times, probably going this year also is at Cappricio's in the Peabody Resort on INternational Drive. The food is just as good as homemade, all the traditional items, and then everything else you would expect at an upscale sunday brunch.

The place is beautifully decorated, staff is fantastic and the food is delicious.

I personally have ordered the turkey dinner from Publix (through the deli) 2x. As someone from New England, I was surprised at the cornbread stuffing, but hey we're in FL. The turkey was Butterball, and the sides every bit as good as Boston Market. I made my own green bean casserole, and our sweet potato recipe and it was as good as home. I also did my own pumpkin pie (spices came from home).

If I were in Florida for Thanksgiving, I would go to Cracker Barrel. If I wanted to eat at the condo, I'd get the fixin's at a grocery store. Since it's vacation...we'd probably go out!

Cracker Barrel offers a to go Turkey Dinner as well. Turkey and dressing for 6 Three quarts veggies of choice, bread, cranberry sauce. last year it was 49.99.

When we did Thanksgiving in 2006 at our Sunset Lakes rental - we bought all the fixings at Publix...but We did investigate Boston Market which looked very tasty. They have three locations in the Orlando area - so depending on where you are staying you could decide who to order from.

Could you share some more specifics on this? I looked on their site & they don't have it listed under November. How much is it & what could we expect? We're kind of picky, when it comes to buffets. Some of them kind of creap me out, with everyone serving themselves.

I don't seem to be able to PM you, but would love more suggestions. As of now, we have a reservation @ Emeril's. It's our favorite Orlando restaurant, but we would give it up for a more special holiday meal. We can eat there anytime, kwim? BTW, I'm not looking for Golden Corral type restaurants.
