We have our time set for Story Tellers. Does anyone know what the Thanksgiving dinners are like? It will be just the three of us. My hubby and my DD (five with high functioning autism ) and myself.

What can we expect? If there are other place that might be better what are they, I could call to see if anything else has openings if Story Tellers wont be great for us.

Food , good?
Thanks
Kelly

I don't know if they have a special Thanksgiving menu, but I can tell you the Storyteller's is one of our favorite place to eat! On a "normal day" they have a buffet at Breakfast and Dinner, but you also have the option of just ordering off the menu. They have great soups on the menu, as well as make your own pizza for the kids, which seems fun. Enjoy!

We love Storytellers too. They do have a Thanksgiving menu . We were there for TG 2 years ago. I don't remember exactly what the menu was. I think it was pretty standard fare... turkey, mashed potatos. Nothing really really special but very good. They might also have their buffet dinner that night. Marilyn:thumbsup2

Thank you very much. I love Thanksgiving dinner, turkey and mash tatoes! mmmmm

Here is the "Holiday" buffet that is listed for Storytellers Cafe. I'm not sure if it is for Thanksgiving or Christmas or both for that matter.

You can count me as another who loves Storyteller's. I haven't been there on a holiday, but usually the food is fantastic, and I think the atmosphere is wonderful. This restaurant is just beautiful, and the servers are very friendly.

Oh no! I hope they have another plan or regular mash potatoes, I can't do garlic mashed...it makes me sick. I guess if they dont they dont right? haha

Not sure about buffets but most restaurants will make accomidations if given advance notice. You could always call the restaurant and let them know that you will be dinning on Thanksiving and would like to know if they could make some plain potatoes.

I believe when we went for Thanksgiving we were given the option of the buffet or the Thanksgiving menu. On regular nights, non-holiday, you can choose between the menu or the buffet. The regular mashed taters will be on the menu. :) Marilyn
