We ate at Whispering Canyon in 2004 for Thanksgiving and loved it! In 2005 we ate at the campgrounds at Trails End. That was very good too. The nice thing there was we were able to catch the campfire sing along and movie after Thanksgiving dinner.

We are going again this year for Thanksgiving and have an ADR at Le Cellier. :thumbsup2

Whatever you choose, enjoy!!

I would call and see what they have left at the time you want. Things book up pretty quickly for holidays.

I know LTT is booked for the day:sad1: That was our first choice. We ate at the Yacht club galley last time and are eating there again this time. From what I remember the food was good and we didn't have to deal with the overcrowding in the parks

I called yesterday for anything in the MK on that day, everything was booked except Tony's Town Square.

I know in EPCOT, Biergarten was available, so was Rose and Crown.

many places were already gone, so you may want to try for a Resort Restaurant instead.

Have a great trip

Last year a friend of mine ended up at Tony's and was not happy about it but it was the only place. She was very pleasantly surprised though. She still talks about how great it was and what a great meal they had there. It was a special menu for the holiday with all the traditional items.

Thanks! I know this is so late to be booking, that's why I wanted to get an idea of which places were good. I know we probably won't get our first choice, but we need to decide fast :thumbsup2 So we needed to know what backups would be good choices. I wish there were holiday menus online somewhere :)

DH and I wanted a more grown up atmosphere for dinner, so, we chose Jiko. They will have a holiday offering plus their regular menu, we can arrive early to have a drink before dinner at Victoria Falls and after dinner we can go for a nice walk around the lodge to see the animals.

:)

We ate Christmas Dinner at the Yacht Club Galley last year and it was fabulous.

Yacht Club Galley! Delicious and then we took the boat to MGM to see the Osbourne Lights.

We ate at Trails End last Thanksgiving, it was ok but not great. Everything tasted like it was out of a box, the dressing was Stoffers and the mashed potatos were instant. This year we are doing breakfast Thanksgiving day.

Thank you! I hate instant mashed potatoes! :scared:

Oh my gosh! I totally forgot about the Osbourne Lights! Yay  What types of offerings did the Yacht Club Galley offer for T-Giving? Thank you!

We are doing Boma this year. Last year was Le Cellier and that was very good. The year before that was Whisperning Canyon Cafe. It was loud and the food was so so but we had fun and the decorations are so beautiful at WL. The year before that was Liberty Tree Tavern and that was mega loud. The food was pretty good and it was a nice atmosphere-except all the yelling:)

Wow! You've tried it all :) DH LOVES LeCellier, so that might be a good option for us too. It's so hard to decide when you can't see any of the menus ;)

I really think you need to call soon and see waht's available - we booked 8 weeks ago and could only get the LTT for 7.45.

Good Luck!

We're eating at Boma this Thanksgiving after eating there last Christmas Day and LOVING it.
If you look at this link, it gives a little bit more info on the menus for Thanksgiving:

Good luck deciding :thumbsup2

WOW! Thanks, I guess we better make a decision ASAP!

I just called today since we just decided to go. I usually call 180 days in advance so this was a little stressful for me. Almost everything was booked! LTT was overbooked! I ended up getting Kona for 8:40 after about 10 different tries. Not sure how that will be for Thanksgiving but I guess it is better than nothing!
