When will you and yours be sitting down to enjoy your thanksgiving feast?

Appetizers at 1 and the meal at 2:00, so if people have to go to 2 places they will be able to....
Most of my family will be there til 9 or 10...
We invite anyone who doesn't have anywhere to go..:D

11 am. If I can get my bunch over to my mom's by then.;) It's usually closer to 12 though.

We usually get started around 1:00. My husbands family all gets together on the hill above our house in a tent. There is usually around 50+ people there and it is so much fun. We set out all of the food and eat. Then some of the family plays football while the others hang out and talk. Once the game is over, everybody is hungry again so we heat things up and start over again.

It is a tradition that our children relaly look forward to. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

My DW and I just built a new house. We are having Thanksgiving here this year; it'll be the first time we haven't had it at my mother's. Actually, I think she's glad it's not at her house. The entire family is coming to Knoxville from other parts of Tennessee and North Carolina. I just a little nervous...if you mess up one turkey it's all over.

Happy Thanksgiving...

We eat/drink all day. DH & I start out by meeting some friends for drinks at 11:00. Then by 1:00 we are at my mothers house having munchies(cheese, crackers, etc...). The real meal is usually around 3:00-4:00.

It's at noon on the dot, and they don't wait.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. :)

Usually around 1:00. It is a small gathering. Only eight in our entire immediate family.

Wow, we're eating really late. We'll be having appitezers at around 5 or when ever DH's family arrives. DH works until 3pm and gets home at 4pm. I'm off and my boys and I will do the cooking but we go the high school football game (after we put the turkey in). The game is at 10 am and we won't get home until at least 12:30. The game is a tradition and not to be missed!

I'm cooking a meal at 11:00 and then we go to MILs around 5:00. Two meals to enjoy!!!

When we go to MIL's, generally around 2-2:30.

When we go to BIL's out on Long Island, generally not before 4. (Traffic is a b*t*h & it takes forever for people to arrive.)

Both places, dessert is always about 1 hour after dinner is finished. Kindof a long, stretched out day of feasting!

I like eating late much better. When I was growing up, dinner was always a noon sharp!!

Whenever DH decides to deliever. I have to work but I'm ok with that.

Dinner at SIL's at 4, but if it was at my home, it would be at 2 or so.

We have ours 2:00 at my aunt's house. That will be breakfeast for me.

Then go to my cousin's house for dinner at 6:00 p.m. Actually will be dinner.

Then get plenty rest because I have to work Black Friday.

We're meeting up with the IL's at 6:15 for dinner at a country club. But knowing them, some will be half-way finished with their meal before everyone arrives. And by past experience, I know DH and I will be home by 8:00 at the latest. (That's okay. The less time I have to spend with them, the better.)
