Thanksgiving Dinner Reservations - not a single one available

Did every reservation really book up before 9:30 today or do they not release reservations till a later date?

Try calling Disney Dining's direct line. Sometimes, there are bookings there that aren't available online. I haven't actually seen the announcement for this year's Thanksgiving offerings yet. Is it out?

Did you find them online? I was trying to find information about them this morning to put in the holiday thread and couldn’t find anything directly from Disney..

I don’t think they are loaded. I went and messed with the app and tried to make reservations for 2 people for lots of different times in lots of different restaurants and nothing was available- I don’t think that’s truly the case.

Happy Sunday! I called Disneyland Dining this morning on the telephone, because I couldn't find any available Thanksgiving Day reservations either. I have GOOD NEWS to share!!! The cast member was so sweet & she told me that Disneyland will be OPENING UP ALL THANKSGIVING DAY DINING RESERVATIONS THIS TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 25th AT 7:00am PST (10:00am EST).

I felt so much better once I spoke with the cast member, because I thought that my family was going to have to eat Mexican food in Disney Springs for Thanksgiving dinner, which wouldn't have been that bad, but ya know... Turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing is the traditional meal on Thanksgiving! She also told me that all of the resort restaurants will be featuring special Thanksgiving meals, including a SPECIAL meal in the Ballroom of the Disneyland Hotel with live music

So hang in there everyone, we will be able to make our family Thanksgiving meal reservations on Tuesday morning

I called in too and was actually treated really rudely (the first time that’s ever happened on the Disney reservation line) but finally got the answer that Tuesday at 7 the reservations would open. Now if only they would release the dining options so we knew which one we wanted to pick. Do they usually release menu’s ahead of time?

She said that they weren't releasing menus that she knew of. I'm sorry that your CM was rude... mine was terrific, and she and I were cracking up laughing when I told her that I was looking up the pricing for bowling at Splitsville for Thanksgiving dinner as a last resort when I thought I missed out of a traditional meal LOL

It is my understanding there will be Thanksgiving meals at Goofy's, Storytellers, Napa Rose, Steakhouse 55, PCH Grill, and the ballroom. I heard the price for the ballroom this year is about $120 plus tax and tip for adults. ($151.)

PS reservations for 11/22 were available online for some on site restaurants early this morning. When I went back to check again later, everything had disappeared.
For those DISers who get up/stay up waiting for the Thanksgiving books to open, see you on Tuesday, bright and early, for our annual vigil!

ETA: So, here's a weird thing: just got off the phone with a very nice Dine Line CM who said that there was a glitch yesterday morning when the books for Thanksgiving did open for some of the on site restaurants. If you happened to snag a reservation for 11/22 during that window (we did), it should hold as a regular Thanksgiving reservation. No changes should be needed tomorrow, unless you want to modify the reservation anyway. Otherwise, assuming everything goes as planned (and this being Disney, take that with a very big grain of salt), all Thanksgiving PS reservations should open tomorrow morning online and by phone.
As far as dining packages in general and for 11/22: the CMs are just as anxious for any news as we are. They are booking through 11/03 right now. They recommend just booking a regular reservation for the restaurant you want for the dining package, then calling back to request a switch to the dining package once those reservations open up.

It's possible. I called at 9am for the Halloween time Sunday tea 60 days out and it was all full.

Right. But in the case of Thanksgiving, it is usually a few days later.

Storyteller's reservations are showing up now for the afternoon on 11/22. And Thanksgiving menus for TS are showing up online, too. I'm not sure how complete the menus are, though -- it's possible more items could be added tomorrow.
