I would love anyones opinion on a good place for Thanksgiving dinner. some of them that we were looking at were Captain's Grille at the yacht club, Le Cellier, Liberty tree tavern, and rose and crown. Of course if anyone has different ones to recommend please do. Just can't decide. Thanks! pirate:

My family and I are going down Nov. 24 - Dec. 1 and we were planning to have Thanksgiving at LTT in MK, but just read that it is no longer a character dining, :sad1: which is a big downer b/c having the characters in colonial clothing would just add to the festiveness of the day. I'm hoping that the characters will come out for that day. That all being said, I'd probably still stick with LTT b/c it seems to have the traditional Thanksgiving offerings.

that's what I was thinking as well about LTT, very appropriate for the colonial time, but some of the others seem to be tempting as well, the menu at the Captain's Grille looks really yummy, just don't know what to decide.....

We did the Captain's Grille for Thanksgiving (or was it Christmas) when it was still the Yacht Club Galley a few years ago. It was not the same menu that they normally have, but was a buffet instead. We had an early seating, around 11:30 or 12 and had a very good meal. But we heard that as the day progressed they ran out of food on the buffet, so they were severely limiting people on what they could take off the buffet and some items were gone.

Find out if it is a buffet or from the menu (we had a very poor meal there in June) for Thanksgiving. If it is a buffet, I suggest that you get an earlier seating in the day.

Most of the restaurants serve traditional fare for Thanksgiving. We've had Thanksgiving dinner at Cape May Cafe and Chef Mickey's. Both served traditional Thanksgiving dinner plus their usual buffet offerings. Both were good. There's a link on this site that describes Thanksgiving offerings for 2008 that might help you decide. http://www.wdwinfo.com/holidays/Thanksgiving.htm

We will be there Thanksgiving....we are just planning on going to Hollywood and Vine. We are a group of 12, 6 adults and 6 kids, 2 3 yr olds, a 5, 6, and 2 7 yr olds.

We have some picky eaters, so buffets are what we are mostly eating for the week. As long as I get turkey in some way, shape or form, we don't really care about where we go.

Now, where do we shop in Disney for black friday????
