On Thanksgiving we would like to have dinner with mostly traditional food and would like suggestions of resort restaurants that are either all a la carte or a combo of a la carte and buffet because my husband has a dairy allergy. Please provide as much info as possible. Thanks!

We are also doing Thanksgiving for the first time this year. This is what I found on Allears:

It is from last year, they have not updated for 2011 yet. However I would guess that things would be pretty much similar.

I am sure those that have actually dined at WDW on Thanksgiving will chime in with more concrete information, but I hope this is at least a pretty good overview of things.

Enjoy your trip! :)

We've been to 1900 Park Fare and Yacht Club Galley for Thanksgiving, both of which were good buffets. This year we're going to try Liberty Tree Tavern, which normally has traditional Thanksgiving food anyway.

We went to Chef Mickey's dinner buffet last Thanksgiving. They ran out of turkey for a good 20 minutes or so! Otherwise, the food was good. Disney is great with allergies--especially if you let them know in advance. The chef will come out and take your husband around the buffet and let him know what foods are safe for him to eat.

We had a delicious turkey dinner at Sunshine Seasons (counter service) in The Land. My DD has tree nut allergies and they were very good at checking everything for her.

We ate at Cape May. This gave everyone the opportunity to enjoy seafood and traditional meal. They had a very good selection. Captain's Grille looked good too.
I don't think you can go wrong anywhere you eat. It's our favorite time to go!

I am interested to hear more from others who have experienced Thanksgiving in Disney before. We will be there as well and plan to be in Epcot that day. I make ADRs on Monday, and as of now we are leaning towards Biergarten - simple because we want to eat there, plus it looks like they will have traditional thanksgivng food included in their buffet (based on last year). But we are open to better suggestions!!!

We are also going over Thanksgiving and leaning towards Biergarten...But then, I was thinking Rose and Crown, at the same time as Illuiminations..That would be kind of cool..

We have our choices narrowed down to Cape May, FW Outside Pavilion, FW Trail's End, Shutters at CRB, Whispering Canyon, Olivia's. Captain's Grille, and Fulton's at DD based on the 2010 menus I could find. Which of those would people recommend for someone with a dairy allergy and how was your experience?

Also, does anyone know if Grand Floridian Cafe has a Thanksgiving Dinner? What is it like? Thanks!
