Thanksgiving dining discounts

We have a dining reservations for Thanksgiving. I know the TIW discounts are excluded for that date. Are
the DVC member discount or Annual pass discount also excluded?

I'm curious about this too. I booked my favorite restaurant for Thanksgiving - Narcoossee's.

Wondering about discount also.

I don't know if it depends on the restaurant? We dined at Hollywood Brown Derby last Thanksgiving (and will do so again this year) and were able to use our DVC or AP discount. I believe both discounts were equivalent last year so the waiter just chose one or the other to use.

We are thinking of going next Thanksgiving, so I'm curious about this as well. We want to eat at LTT for lunch. I can't even find the price of their AYCTE meal much less if you can use any discounts.

I think the dining discounts are suspended even for DVC members and AP holders for Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years. There is written confirmation for TIW block out these dates.

I didn't realize they had done away with that at lunch. I wasn't super happy when they went that direction because I usually would never want a meal that big in the middle of the day. But I could see wanting something like that for Thanksgiving. Guess I'll have to go with dinner.

I would keep checking, as they tend to change the meals from time to time. If this is on Thanksgiving all bets are off, they tend to have special times/deals for holidays.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm wondering what everyone's experience was last year. Did you get a DVC discount on Thanksgiving? We are really considering celebrating Thanksgiving on Black Friday. We have a lunch reservation at LTT. (I think the information in an earlier post is now incorrect. I think LTT has the AYCTE meal at lunch, which is what we will be interested in. Either that, or just the turkey and dressing entree.) I'm assuming we will get 10% off on Black Friday. We are also planning on Yak & Yeti for Thanksgiving dinner. Even though it's Thanksgiving Day, I'm hoping for 10% off there as well. Any experiences would be helpful!

• All Tables in Wonderland locations are blocked out for Mother’s Day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

I have not seen similar definitive language for DVC discounts for thanksgiving, but when we went to Crystal Palace in 2017 they said they accepted no type of discount (DVC or AP). I think they are considered membership perks and subject to change year to year and are restaurant specific.

My best guess is you will get a discount on Friday but not on Thurs.

This is probably the best way to think and budget for. I guess I am just hoping that since Yak & Yeti is owned by Landry's instead of Disney, that they may honor it. It might be a good time to sign my husband up for the Landry's Club to get the $25 birthday coupon. Surely they would honor that. I don't see any blackout dates for their rewards.

Thanks for the information about Crystal Palace. I am also curious about other restaurants, too. Anyone else have any experiences to share?
