Thanksgiving Day

Does MK traditionally fill up so that entry is closed to new visitors on Thanksgiving Day? We have PS for LTT in the early evening and planned on visiting another park until late afternoon (around 4pm) and then return to MK for dinner at LTT. Is there a reasonable chance we could get "locked out" from our Holiday Meal?

I'm having the same anxiety. I have PS at CP that night. But when I posted on one of the boards, the replies came back saying you should be able to get in because you have PS. But I'm still anxious.

We went on Thanksgiving Day last year, but we didn't get to the park until 7:30 (it was open till 11). The MK was very empty. It was our best night of the whold trip. We didn't stand in any lines, and saw spectromagic in a practically deserted Liberty Square.

I've heard that if you start off in the Magic Kingdom at the start of the day then get your hand stamped for re-entry and hop to another park that you'll safely get back in. Somehow it equals out in their counts or something.....but that's what I've heard. We've never had a problem getting in to the MK on Thanksgiving and have done it for 2 years, so hopefully it won't be an issue this one either

We have had no problem on Thanksgiving, it's the day after that we avoid going to the MK.
We go to the MK after dinner at Chef Mickeys, usually around 5p.m. and never had any problems.
We try to avoid the Mk fri & sat mornings after Thanksgiving, we have seen the biggest crowds just waiting to get in. We usually go mini golfing or sit by the pool on these mornings.

but I think if you have a PS at a resteraunt in a park that is closed due to crowds, they will still let you in. be sure to bring a confirmation slip for proof!

Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving is usually quite crowded, especially in the mornings.

What this year brings is anyone's guess, but I guess that MK will be very crowded and may reach maximum.
