Thanksgiving Day

In the past, how busy was Thanksgiving Day? I know days like Easter tended to be surprisingly less crowded than other days that same week. I am wondering if Thanksgiving day is the same

In 2020 the park was obviously closed on Thanksgiving.

In 2019 I was there Thursday-Saturday. It rained on Thanksgiving which would usually keep people away, but I still remember it being pretty busy all weekend.

Before that, I don’t ever remember Thanksgiving being as packed as Christmas, but I also don’t ever remember it being surprisingly less crowded.

I’d say plan for it to be busy but, but not necessarily outrageous. Of course, crowds are all about perception.

I've gone a few times on Thanksgiving day, and we never know what to expect. It's kind of like Super Bowl Sunday--one year the place will be a ghost town, and the next it will be packed to the gills.
