In your opinion which park is the best to visit on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving day? I know the parks will be busy so I was wondering if we should go to AK, Epcot or Hollywood Studios over MK. Thanks in advance!!

They will all be somewhat crowded. From my experience (we go every thanksgiving week) you can do one of two things
1. Epcot WILL be crowded, but because of it's size, you won't feel like a sardine. Doesn't help wait times though.
2. Animal Kingdom will be your least crowded.

From said experience, we have opted lately just to make it a resort or DTD day.

We also were there this past Thanksgiving and intend to be there again this one. We went to DTD that day and ate our resort (POR) but if I were to choose a park, I would go with previous poster- AK or EP for the same reasons.

During Thanksgiving 2014, on that Wednesday we were at MK and the crowds were not that bad. On Thanksgiving day, we started at DTD and jumped over to HS at lunch. It wasn't that bad either crowd wise. All I know is stay away from MK on Thanksgiving Day and Epcot on the Friday after Thanksgiving (Candlelight Processional's first night)!!

Along these same lines....if we're only going to MK one day (arriving Thur and leaving Sun morning), which day is best? I was thinking Fri or Sat, probably Sat?

Friday...Since Candlelight Processional starts off Friday, most of the crowds will shift to Epcot that day.

Friday go early! if you are staying on site there usually is a super early EMH. Also there are a lot of people doing "black friday shopping" and then come to parks later so the first 3 hours are the best. We go and leave by 2 or 3 but we are there at 7 am :)

Thanks you guys, good points!

In 2013 we started in DHS and hopped to Epcot for Illuminations on Thanksgiving Day. Black Friday in MK was very manageable-- but then one could still double dip FPs then. I miss those days!
