Thanksgiving black out dates for discounts/codes?

For those who have previously stayed over Thanksgiving weekend, were you able to get a discount or code at that time, or was there a black out period for that weekend? I am specifically looking at 11/25 (Thurs.)-11/28 (Sun) this year. In the historical data, I see that discount time frames span Sept. or Oct. into Dec., but I can't find specifics on black out dates. Thank you!

Last year, they extended the 4/3 deal until mid-December and I am pretty sure it did - because I used it to check in the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

That was a fluke though; due to the economy. Normally they do have black-out periods during big holidays because they don't need it to fill rooms.

Oh I hope so! We are going Nov 19 - 27th and right now I have a BB offer booked and there IS a blackout for the Thanksgiving Weekend (Wed - Sun).
But I have an AP so I'm hoping a good AP rate comes out for that time of year so I can book an AP package (room plus DDP). If I can get a discounted room all eight nights I will be ecstatic!

I think value season starts on that Sunday (the 28th), so it shouldn't be a blackout date as those are usually for peak dates.

Oh, and I got a PIN offer in the mail that only excludes the 24-27, so not that Sunday.

Marciemouse, may I ask, which pin offer did you receive with the blackout dates? Was it a QSDP offer, or the 20/30/40 offer, or something else? Thanks!
