Does anyone know of any resteraunts that serve thanksgiving food on thanksgiving day? Do you know if Cinderella's Royal Table does. I am trying to look for something other than Liberty Tree Tavern however if you feel that it is really really good please tell me!!!

Personally, I would stay away from the parks that day and make reservations at one of the resort restaurants. They all serve Thanksgiving Dinner. Menus should be available closer to the date, but make sure to get your reservations made as soon as can!!

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Chef Mickey's in '04. It was terrific. I got my traditional turkey dinner, dh got his roast beef and dd had her usual mac and cheese/pizza!!! We lucked out and got seated in the second level, beside a window, overlooking the lake and off to the right, MK. It was quiet and beautiful.
I know a lot of people don't care for the food at CM's but it was very good that day (of course, we like it all the time, never had a bad experience there!).

A few years ago, the Rose and Crown at the United Kingdom at Epcot served a very traditional American Thanksgiving dinner. I found it highly ironic but enjoyed it anyway!

And yes, make your reservation ASAP. I can't tell you how many people are turned away because they didn't think about doing that.

I know many cringe at the thought of buffet for Thanksgiving... but i agree with goofy4tink, Chef Mickey's for dinner is great! We did this last year and it worked out perfect! We stayed away from the parks and took my daughters to My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party, walked around DTD, then headed to the Contemporary for Chef Mickey's... and to our suprise it was not crowded!

Almost all of the full service restaurants offer a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
I got one at Coral Reef a couple years ago and it reminded me of the Thanksgiving lunches at my grade school cafeteria. Greenish gravy and all.

Artist Point is where we had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner last year. Rather pricy, but the food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent.

WOW!!! Thanks for all the responses!!! I think we are going to eat at Chef Mickey's on Thanksgiving. Thanks again!!!

We're in the same boat... trying to decide where to eat Thanksgiving Day. I'm leaning towards HDDR. DH doesn't care if he gets a "traditional dinner" or not.

We ate at YCG this past Thanksgiving. It was pretty good, we all actually preferred the ham over the turkey. It was a buffet, they didn't have as many selections as I would have liked.
