I have a premier pass for Universal but this year my brother-in-law and his family will be coming with me for Thanksgiving weekend. We will be getting in Wednesday night then going to the parks Thanksgiving, Friday, and Saturday then they leave on Sunday and I get a week in Orlando to recover from this craziness. I general just go for a couple hours in the morning then maybe return and use the express pass feature to ride some of the express rides after 4 pm. I also use single rider. Their son is 7 and probably won't want to do single rider since he's never been to Universal before. I was thinking they should buy him an express pass and he could go on some rides with me after 4 pm. Their 11 year old doesn't really like the more extreme rides. I think I can explain to the parents that rides like Rockit and Minions are really not worth the hour plus wait in the regular line.

They want to go to Universal (both parks) in one day, SeaWorld one day, and EPCOT one day. I figured SeaWorld and EPCOT are easy in one day but what is the best day for Universal? I was thinking Universal on Thanksgiving, SeaWorld on Friday, then EPCOT on Saturday.

Thanks

are you staying onsite or off?
are the plans for everyone to do the parks together at UO?

might have some issues in doing both parks in one day in regular lines.

you have the after 4 pass but if the kids don't buy the ep, waits will be long

if you are planning to eat at UO on Tday, make reservations in advance.
they do fill up at many of the places

I have a condo near Disney so we will all stay there. Years ago my husband and I would stay onsite and that was really nice for express all day. At Universal I was thinking that everyone would go through the lines together at Harry Potter and Kong then I would exit with my niece that won't want to ride. Other than Kong I've ridden a million times so not an issue for me to not ride. I'm going to send them a list of rides when it gets closer to have them prioritize. I agree they can't go on every ride without express passes. I'm not sure the parents would care about going on some coasters like Rockit but my nephew realllllly wants to ride it. I know the wait there can get really long. I've waited an hour in express before. We'll probably eat somewhere at the parks each day for lunch. I've never been on vacation with them before so I'm not sure how structured they want to be as far as reservations. I'm going back down in September then after that I'll talk to them more about what they have in mind.

I usually spend Thanksgiving with them in Georgia then go to Orlando the following day so I've never been to the parks on Thanksgiving Day. Between Thursday, Friday, and Saturday which would be the least crowded at Universal?

Thanks
