Thanksgiving and Magic Kingdom

Which day is best for Magic Kingdom, Thanksgiving day or the Friday after. The Friday after is EMH and our party can not take advantage of that. I know crowds will be crazy busy both days. Will either day make any difference?

On our 1 Thanksgiving trip we did EP on Thanksgiving and MK the day after. It worked fine, but that was in 09 and crowds were a lot lighter for Thanksgiving back then compared to what it will be now.

If I were in your shoes I wouldn't do MK the day after because you can't use EMH. You'll be showing up an hour after the EMH folks and wait times will be higher when you start.

Can't comment on Black Friday in MK, wasn't there, but I was in MK for Thanksgiving Day last year. Yeah, it's really busy, but if you're there early it's definitely manageable. We stayed from about 8:30am until roughly 1:00 or 1:30pm and got a lot done. Then we left, and it was getting REALLY crowded.

We did MK on the day after last year and it was crowded but not terrible. We didn't go until that evening because we were watching the college basketball tournament and WWOS but it was manageable. Used our FPs and the later it got the shorter the lines became. For us last year, it seemed like the crowds were worse earlier in the week. There was one morning that the crowd/lines getting into MK were backed up all the way out to the bus stops. We decided against going to MK at that time on that day. All in all its a busy week but if you plan right, get there early and/or stay till close you can get done what you want.
