Thanksgiving 2022

DD's wanted to be in a park, so I had reservations at CRT in MK and Coral Reef in Epcot. After we planned out our days, it ended up that we will be in Epcot on Thanksgiving, so as of now it's Corals Reef and I cancelled CRT.

Added: I am also very surprised at the ADR's still available, this late, during Thanksgiving week.

I was going to say the same thing, but I did notice that there seem to be less openings at resort restaurants. I am very curious if many people have decided to not battle crowds on the day and instead stay away but now look at how crowded the restaurants will be. LOL...it's always something!

We looked at MK on Saturday the 26th and they had CRT, BOG, CP etc. still available. I was shocked

I got a reservation at BOG last Friday. Does anyone know if BOG does anything different for Thanksgiving?

Yes!! On Sunday in the morning I was able to get Space220 for the 25th! I think as we near final payment dates and such people are beginning to cancel anything they had reserved and some places may also be releasing some more dining times and or adding some tables. Whatever works! haha

I got a reservation at BOG last Friday. Does anyone know if BOG does anything different for Thanksgiving?

I'm pretty sure they keep to their regular menu but not sure I have heard anything about this year.

Where are you dining for Thanksgiving if you are in the WORLD?

We are doing HDDR but still thinking of swapping to Whispering Canyon Cafe. We've done both and love both but just couldn't decide and made our reservations on a whim! LOL!
For us it's a no park day, we are just sleeping in, relaxing and then doing dinner and casual drinks and late night apps back at our site afterwards. Staying at the Fort is the main reason we chose HDDR but we have our own car, so transport is not really an issue for us.

When the weather is right and they open up all the walls the ambiance at The Boathouse was tough to beat.

Day started in Magic Kingdom till about 11 then took the boat over to Wilderness Lodge to watch some football and have some afternoon cocktails and a light snack. Made our way over to Disney Springs for lunch later in the afternoon and walked around a bit before returning to Epcot that evening once the sun had set.

We've done Liberty Tree Tavern, Cinderella's Royal Table, Hoop Dee Doo and La Cellier and so far, we have enjoyed The Boathouse experience the most.

Has anyone been to the Flying Fish for the traditional Thanksgiving dinner? I has a wonderful meal in September and currently have reservations for Thanksgiving evening.
