Thanksgiving 2011 should I cancel?

We have thanksgiving at the fort reserved. It takes 2 dining credits. Is this worth it? Have you eaten here? I am worried as it seems no one knows anything about it. Taste quality? Would we be better off somewhere else? We also have diamond horseshoe which is having thanksgiving. Please post !

I think it will be great I was able to book this tonight. For us and the cm was very excited and said it was wonderful. I actually cancelled the garden grill which I snagged at 180 days
I should also add we have eaten there before and it was great. It was a buffet with free beer and wine and gratituities are included

Well if you do, I would love the diamond horshoe ressi ......jk I know we can't ask for ressies on the board but as of now I'm stuck with Boma unless I can get something else.........I want to do Boma just not Thanksgiving night.

Captain's Grill is doing a traditional Thanskgiving buffet with seafood added. Not sure if it still has any reservations left or not, but maybe since it is not well advertised that it offers Thanksgiving food vs. what it typically has (sitdown seafood from a menu)

Thanksgiving at the Fort is a lot like Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Same venue different name/food.

Thanksgiving at the fort is actually in the outdoor pavilion where mickeys backyard bbq is held and is 2 dining credits but gratuities are included. We ate at the captains grille last yr at thanksgiving and hated it

We did Chef Mickey's for Thanksgiving 2009. It was good with some of the traditional Thanksgiving foods, but I wish we would have done Thanksgiving at the Garden Grill.

oh no-I had read good reviews from others. May I ask why you hated it?

There just didn't seem to be a big selection and some of the food wasn't good. However with that being said I have heard others say the regular menu is great. And we plan to try it again on a non holiday time.
