For those of you that already made your Thanksgiving day reservations what were you able to reserve. Was it your 1st choice?

We will be at 1900 Park Fare at 7:20pm - 3rd choice

First choice was Chef Mickey and Boma - neither are showing available this morning for Thanksgiving day. We wanted an earlier time at 1900 Park Fare but 7:20 was the only time listing. We also checked Captain's Grill and Cape May for dinner but those were not showing available either. All were checked for 4 people

I am hoping that they are holding back tables since it is a holiday and will release more at exactly the 90 day for Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving Day we have
Breakfast - Akershus
Lunch - Le Cellier
Dinner - Biergarten

I had problems on line and couldn't get either Le Cellier nor Biergarten so I called and the CM was able to get both for me exactly when I wanted them.

Did you call or just do the online reservations? I could book breakfast online but not lunch or dinner for TG. I called to get WCC for dinner that day and had no problem (party of 5) but I figure it is not one of the more popular TG choices. I was able to book Boma online for TG breakfast. Today is our 90 day mark for check-in. If you haven't already, I would call to check for TG dinner reservations.

My TA did our reservations for us but I was also online at 6am today looking for TG dinners, today was our 90 day from arrival. Our TA was able to get 1900 park fare by calling in as TG dinners weren't all showing up online for her, I had the same issue. Even when I called in they said none of my choices were available so I was happy that my TA was able to get one of our choices.

I will keep calling over the next few days to see if anything else opens up.

You got 1900?? I got Chef Mickey's for TG breakfast which is fine because we really wanted to stay put once we got somewhere for the day. I'm still bumfuzzled at 1900...

I am wondering how you got 1900 PF, too. I was told that there was no availability at all at any time for TG day dinner.

We ended up with Boatright's after trying for Captainns Grille and then Boma.

My TA was able to book 1900PF for me - when I called they said no availability at all and a few minutes later I had an email from my Ta saying she had it. I was able to pull it up on Disney's restaurant section so I know it is correct.

We got Akershus - our first choice.

When I didn't get it originally, I booked Tutto Italia, then cancelled, then booked 1900 Park Fare. My guess is that I didn't get Akershus initially because the times hadn't been fully loaded into their system. When I called back the next day, I was able to get it no problem. That is my guess with what is going on with 1900 Park Fare and maybe Boma as well. I would definitely keep calling back if that is your #1 choice!

I was able to book starting today. Got online at 5:00 my time, did not get what I wanted, but got Tusker House. Wanted Whispering Canyon. I have tried all restaurants park and resort and can't find anything!. Tried lunch and dinner. Also, tried to go outside the dining plan and pay for some, only thing I could get was Hoopty Review, but did not want to pay almost $300!

I am going to keep trying, but don't think it will happen. :guilty:

Did you call or just try online? The online booking system is not very reliable. If you haven't called I would recommend it. Also, as a PP pointed out, not all restaurants have their times loaded yet, so if your choice isn't available yet keep trying.

We got '50s Prime Time for 7:20 (originally booked at 6:10 but I really want to see the lighting ceremony for Osborne Lights), but the CM said that they couldn't guarantee we'd sit together so to get there early if we HAD to be seated together (we're only a party of 3 - 2 adults, 1 child) -- thoughts on that??

On TG we have a 3:50 Fantasmic package at Hollywood & Vine. Called at 7 a.m. Sun, on hold 30 minutes to be told nothing available. Called back when online system was "busy" to change another ADR when we inquired about a Fantasmic package there was one available so we grabbed it!!

I called yesterday morning right at 7 a.m. and we got Grand Floridian Cafe for TG. I can't remember the time but it is exactly what we wanted. GFC is not one of the most popular places in WDW but we have heard good things about it so I thought we would give it a try.

Stargazer, that is nuts!!! What will they do, seat your child with some other family??? Maybe you'll get some free babysitting out of it! :confused3 It sounds like a poor, misguided CM who has your party of 3 confused with a party of 10! :lmao:

I was able to book my first choice, California Grill, yesterday. I couldn't book T'giving online so I called at 7:00 and was on hold about 30 minutes. Our group of 8 would have to split up since all the large tables were already booked. I talked to the rest of my group, and we decided Teppan Edo would be a better choice. We can sit together and none of us are crazy about traditional T'giving food, anyway. I had no problem changing the ressie from Cali Grill to Teppan Edo.

I have to admit that I was really worried before making my ADRs, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I got everything else I wanted for the entire week at almost the perfect times, and I had some hard ones to get: 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Le Cellier.

See that's what I thought too (confused CM) when I first made my ressie for 6:10 yesterday. Last night, though, I decided we wanted to see the lighting ceremony for Osborne Lights, so I called back today to change it to 7:20 and was told the exact same thing :confused3:rotfl:
