Thanksgiving 2007!!!

i have know from being at wdw that coke is the soda of choice is that the same on the boat im going to have to pack a 24 pack or 2 if they dont have pepsi

can you buy unlimited internet time i know there were set amounts you could buy but i thought i had read in the passporter book that you could get unlimited if that is true do you have any idea how much that is ???
i had read somewhere (who knows where) that you can get the internet in your rooms and in certain places on the boat ??

A few responses -

internet - unlimited or by the minute in internet cafe/ deck 9 cafe or by the minute i believe at certain wi-fi spots on your own computer - no unlimited so far that i have heard on own computer - and i will have mine too

dessert - anything at the Palo brunch - or the chocolate soufle at palo dinner - you need to give them 30 minutes notice if you want that dessert - Lisa loves it

dont bring coke - the 9th deck dispensing station has plenty for free - disney uses coke products

if anything, bring water - we bring a case or so in a rolling cooler that i lug onboard - it is one of the soft-sided coolers on wheels that has a handle like a suitcase on wheels and resembles a suitcase (sort of).

The single most indispensible item we have probably seen over the years on these threads is the over-the-door shoe holder - which we put over the bathroom door to hold all sorts of miscellaneous toiletries, sunscreen etc - second would be the collapsible hamper.

And again - we now have 11 reservations linked for dinner - 2nd seating

T-shirts are underway. They're being shipped to me and I should get them on the 10th (apparently, lime green shirts are hard to get...who knew!) which leaves precious little time to get them to you all.

One thing occurred to me...I know who you all are...or your screen names...but I don't know addresses! So, I don't know how to get shirts to you!

One option is to just bring them on the boat and give them out the 1st day (I can prewash them all so they aren't so stiff and smelly) or I can priority mail them to you. Any thoughts?

Chris is getting the total to me by Tuesday and then I'll be able to tell you the costs.

It would be nice to have them before we get on the boat. How about we PM you with our addresses? and you send them out USPO priority mail its like $5.10. You can get the priority mailing bags from the post office for free. It will be cutting it close.

I think Chris and I failed to think about the shipping time to me from Orlando...but since he had the artwork.... Anyone that wants me to bring them to the ship, I can certainly do that (and can give you my cell number so you can find me...goodness knows I'll likely be gawking like a little child and won't have a clue how to navigate the ship for a day or two!)...I'll even offer to prewash them for you so they aren't stiff or smelly.

Either way, just send me a PM so I know what I'm doing...or can at least seem like I do!

Clarification - the internet for personal laptops is relatively new - I have not had mine in the past - just this year...but i believe the unlimited does not apply to our own laptops...as for reception, what i have heard keeps changing so we shall see...

i just looked at the calendar and the 10 is actually a saturday which is great the issue i think we may have is that veterens day is actually sunday the 11 but with it being considered a federal holiday it will be celebrated on monday which means no mail on monday the 12 so if you were to mail them on the 12 tuesday im not too sure we would get them in time.. i know we are leaving here thursday the 15 which is not going to be enough time to get them here so i guess let me know what i owe you and ill met you on the ship i just dont think there will be time to get them here even with faster shipping
if that is ok with you let me know i just figured i would put the dates to everything and once i did i really didnt think it would work
