Thanksgiving 2007 Will we regret it?

I hope not, because we will be there during that time frame too, and we will even be doing a Disney Wedding then. I think as long as you do the bulk of your park touring early in the morning, avoid midday times, and go back to tour late afternoon and evenings, you will get plenty of park time in and avoid the worst of the crowds. The best thing is that you will get to see the Holiday decor!
I agree with diane on this one.

....Thanksgiving week in 2007. Saturday through Wednesday then on to a Disney Cruise for Thanksgiving weekend through Sunday. Are the cruise ships decorated as well at that time of year?

Thanksgiving week can't be as crowded as Easter week and I found that to be bearable. Went to the parks early and then back to BWV. Maybe wroking in Manhattan has hardened me to crowds and lines. :cool1:

We haven't been at this time of the year before. We're headed there on Thursday and we can't wait. I did a lot of research on DIS and pretty much everything folks have said so far is true. I think the key is that you are arriving the weekend before. We are obviously doing the same and most of our park touring will be over by Wednesday. We are going to MVMCP our first night and CP our last. On these longer trips we always do a bit of a park in the am, head back to the hotel and then go to the MK or Epcot at night.

We've been at Easter many times and despite the unbelievable crowds have always managed to have a great time.

Have fun planning.

We are going for Thanksgiving the 16th-24th. We are very excited about the Disney holiday happenings and plan to enjoy every minute. Hope you have a wonderful time also.

It was our first trip to WDW and I didn't think it was that bad, especially in the evenings(it was rather chilly). We did the big parks early in the week(MK & Epcot).

We're going back again in 07, already booked at SSR, though we are coming in on Sat. before to get one more day in before the crowds pick up. We did AK on T-Day, but I think we may just skip the parks. We pack up and go home on "Black Friday".
