I havent seen a Thanksgiving title yet.. so with our trip already under 90 days.. November hours really close to being released... ITS TIME TO GET EXCITED!!!!!!!!

Ok all Thanksgiving Disers...

When are you going & Where are you staying?

Are you going to MVMCP? Which day or days??

What special holiday attractions do you want to do???

Me, DD 12, DD 10, DS 4 will be flying in on Thanksgiving Day in the late afternoon. I need to see if there is anywhere to catch a rather late Thanksgiving Dinner. If not.. we may just hang at the resort.

We are staying at Coronado Springs the first 3 nights, and then moving over to All Star Sports the last 3 nights.

I know we are definately going to MMVCP on Tuesday, November 29th with the AP discount, and Im really considering going the first party on Sunday the 27 too!!

I want to try and see all of the Epcot Story tellers, catch the tree lightings, See the Osborne Lights, Resort hop and see their decorations, watch the parades in all the parks and just enjoy walking around in all the parks and taking in the holiday magic. I live for snow falling on Main Street!!

We're flying in 11/19, me, DH amd DMIL (her first trip to WDW). We're staying at OKW, having Thanksgiving dinner at Artist Point. I'd love to know where everyone else is eating.

Dh and I'll be there 11/23-11/30
We're staying at All Star Sports 11/23-11/27 & the Wilderness Lodge 11/27-11/30. :goodvibes :goodvibes
We'll be having Thanksgiving dinner at the Brown Derby (Fantasmic Package so we have seats for Fantasmic)
We have tickets to MVMCP on the 29th (our second anniversary  ) but we may also go on the 27th if we can get day of tickets.
We love seeing the Osborne Lights, Candlelight Processional (but since we have a DDE we are not going to do the dinner package), and listening to the school groups sing Christmas songs at DTD (I'm a teacher and like knowing that everyone else is at school while I'm at WDW :rotfl2: :rotfl2: )

Last year we ate at Hollywood & Vine with the Fantasmic package. When we got to our seats, the theater wasnt even filled up yet!! We dont land in Orlando until 6:15.. by the time we get to our room, check in, and back out to a park, I think it will be too late to eat anywhere. Does the hotels serve any kind of turkey and mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving??

 :cool1:

Me, DH and two DD's who will be 3 and 9 months!!!

forgot to say - we are staying at Coronado Springs and not attending MVMCP until we head back there in Dec - the 9th for the party....:)

I can't wait!! We are really making use of our AP's this year!! :)

My DS (will be 17) and I are staying at VWL November 19-25. Sadly we will miss MVMCP, maybe next year! Thanksgiving Dinner will be at Whispering Canyon Cafe. We hope to tour the resorts and see the Osbourne Lights! Can't wait!

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc We are heading down either Thanksgiving Day if we drive, or the 25th if we fly. I sure hope we fly. Especially with the gas prices like they are. We are renting a vacation home since we have extra people this year. We also arent going into the parks until Sunday and are going to AK then. We are doing MVMCP on Tuesday the 29th (our first MVMCP!). We are also going to see the Osbourne Lights and do the CP. This is our first time going at this time of year and we are SOOO excited. Cant wait!!! :cool1: I have a question about a previous post. What is the sleigh ride at the WL? This sounds interesting. Thanks for the info. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We will be there the 22-30. Staying at the Swan. Love that place! What is MMVCP, and do you need reservations? Where is the candlelight processional?

MVMCP = Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

You dont need reservations, but you have to purchase a seperate ticket for the event. Its held on certain nights starting on Nov. 27th ( sunday ) and its at Magic Kingdom from 7pm-midnight. At the party, they have a special Christmas Parade they show twice, special fireworks, Christmas shows, characters dressed for the winter and the holidays, free hot chocolate and cookies all night, and best of all.. It snows on Main Street. If you are an AP holder, there are a few early parties that are discounted for you. I know Tuesday the 29th is one of them. I think the next 2 or 3 are as well. You can enter the MK starting at 4 with just your party ticket. Then at 6, the park closes and those with out a party ticket or party bracelet must leave. Everyone else is sent to Tomorrowland to wait for the party to start. Oh.. also included is a free photograph of your family or group!! We have gone to 3, ( 2 of them in the same trip last year) and we are definately doing one again this trip. I may cave and go to the very first party too!! We love going!

Also going over Thanksgiving. Staying at the GF and have no plans. I also would like to hear about the sleigh ride at WL.
Christine

We'll be there 11/19 - 11/26. ADR's for CRT Lunch, Chef Mickey's, Prime Time, Aloha Show, Liberty Tavern for Thanksgiving Dinner. Still trying to decide on where to eat for CP on 11/25. We have non-CP package ressies for R&C, and a package ressie for Alfredo's. Wanted Le Cellier, but that wasn't happening. We're a group of 10, so hard to find places at this late date.

ETA - staying at Pop Century.

We are going on Thanksgiving too. We have ADR at Chef's de France (don't care about turkey but love the onion soup) and Mama Melrose on Friday. My plans are to take my DD (23 months) to the new Pooh's Playful Spot which should be open by then thanksgiving morning and take the monorail to epcot while she naps at noon.

The Candlelight Processional is at Epcot.
From Allearsnet.com
"What is the Candlelight Processional?
A Disney tradition now in its 35th year (2005), the Candlelight Processional is a moving presentation of the Christmas story in readings by a celebrity narrator and music by a Mass choir and 50-piece orchestra.

Where and when does it take place?

This event takes place in the America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase in Epcot. It is an outdoor (uncovered, not climate controlled) setting and is not cancelled due to inclement weather. It is recommended you dress accordingly.

It begins November 25 and runs every evening until December 30. Shows are approximately 40 minutes. Each evening there are three shows -- 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m."
Here is a link for more information about it

We are heading down there on November 19 and staying for a week. We are hoping the few days before Thanksgiving won't be as busy so that we can enjoy more rides before the crowds arrive. We will be at the Carribean Beach (our first time there) and are looking forward to doing lots of swimming and park hopping! Since we are AP people, we have done and seen it all, and that is why we keep coming back! :Pinkbounc
