We have a studio over at VWL for Thanksgiving 2002 (Tuesday thru Sunday), and a 2BR for 10 nights at VWL March 14 thru 23rd.

We need the 2BR for extended family which will be joing us in March, and over Thanksgiving it is just the 4 of us.

We are alternating years between BWV and VWL. 2003 will be our next BWV year, March and Thanksgiving I will assume.

We’re all set in a humongous BWV 2-br Dec 1 – 7, but we don’t have the night of the 7th to the 8th yet. What I want to know is how did you get that night already?? Isn’t that night not available until tomorrow?

How I got it? Don't really know, ever since 1/02 I've been day ahead. I was told initially because they were closed New Years Day. But I stopped asking

Wow! 2 weeks! Wish we could stay that long (or even longer, ), but it's too hard to get away from work that long. We'll be in a 1 bedroom at BWV from 12/1 through 12/7.

It'll be just Dh & me, so even that tiny unit will seem super humongus to us. I convinced myself that we needed the 1 bedroom because it has two TVs. I can't stand to even be in the room when DH has the remote - it gives my brain whiplash!

We borrowed a few points and went for the one bedroom. We had to borrow because we're spending the last week in March in a studio at OKW.

Thanksgiving 2002 will be our first trip "home".

Regarding getting the night of the 7th already, I was surprised I got it today too. I called day by day last week, and I think the 2nd day the CM asked what the actual checkout day was going to be, and said he'd note December 8th on my reservation. Today, I asked to add 3 more nights, and the CM said I was all set through the 8th, and I confirmed that that was what she meant for sure. This is all new to me, so I'm but .

Recently completed reservations for WLV studio, 11/27 - 12/1.

I really messed up our reservations this time - I'm usually so organized, I don't know what happened.

Anyway, technically we're all set from 11/27 to 12/6 at BWV in a mammoth 2 br.

Unfortunately the nights of 11/27 and 11/28 are in a preferred view and the rest are standard. We're on the waiting list for those 2 first nights, but the 'overage' in point cost forced me to borrow 15 points from next year. I hate that! If the wait list comes thru, great - if not, the only bad part is having to change rooms. Since we'd be staying within the resort maybe we won't have to put our luggage in limbo, but hopefully go right from one room to the other. My pessimistic side is telling me there's no way it will be that easy.

So.....looks like there's a bunch of us (the same bunch? ) there at the same time again.

Hi Pluto - it usually takes me a month or 2 after a Disney trip to get back into the swing of things. Post-trip let down, jealousy, envy, etc. Now that I have our next trip planned my Disney/DIS obsession should come back full force. Next step - Transportation board.

Wouldn't it be funny if when we all actually do meet we find out we had run into each other as strangers?? During the week we were at BWV we had quite the scene out by the pool area (my husband lost our 3 yr. old son - long story). I've since wondered if any BWV/DVCers noticed the hysterical mother without knowing they 'knew' me. (sort of).

Very odd...since when I called on 12/31 I wasn't permitted to make the ressie for any of my days....but whatever I guess!

This will be my first trip at this time of year, so I'm not a "regular" in this bunch! I think the next DIS convention is the week after Thanksgiving too...lots of DISer's will be around!
