We just closed on BCV 200 April. For those that are interested it was a full 2003 and full 2004 contract. We paid 72 plus mf plus 475 closing. 200 points immediately and 200 points in April. We needed a full contract to book March. This might be a bit long but might be of interest to prospective buyers.

We had been doing codes with mousesavers. Late this summer she said she felt Disney was phasing the program out. We decided we should look into dvc. We decided we'd like BCV and we needed to make a two bedroom ressie for March(350 points). We went directly to disney and spoke with Kim Moore. I found him professional. He returned all phone calls in a timely manner. We asked to be put on a March BCV waiting list. He said it couldn't be done.(I think itisonly for add ons for current members.) On September 8 he offered to sell me September use year for any points I wanted for 84per point We plan to take April vacations and felt we wanted the March April use month.

I first looked at a BCV march 200 with jaki at atimestore. She told me the listing had not been completed but currently was a full and had 100 2002 points. 300 now and 200 in march. However the owner stripped the contract and I declined. Shontell at dvc by resale had the contract I bought. Accepted offer was submitted to Disney on 9/16 I was notifed on rofr 10/6. The deal was closed on 10/17. I might be able to book on 10/22.

Resales only accept good funds. You can not put it on a credit card. Once they receive the funds there is no recourse. I initially felt very uncomfortable sending a large certified check to a complete stranger. This is not like dealing with disney direct and charging it. However after reading disboards I felt I could trust these timeshare brokers.

I also found the enthusiasm infectious and the positive experiences reassuring.

I will also share waiting for rofr is not pleasant. If you have enough time to lose a couple contracts to rofr it takes the pressure off. We wanted to book the march ressie by november. If we had to start over we would be late. I also haven't seen any bcv. I seriously considered buying september from disney for 84. If it was March I probably would have. I would have had my march ressie 6 weeks ago. If you have the patience and the time I would recommend resale. But disney does make it so darn easy to buy from them direct.

They certainly do, Chips. We just bought BCV in Aug. with use year March from Disney. It was all done on my Amex card, boy that was simple. Got our permanent membership cards this week but could have started making ressies back in Sept. We're also going to be there in March.
