Thanks for all the suggestions, I called Portofino Bay where we are staying and they said, well we don't have anything we normally do, however we could help you arrange a cake for a fee. We went to Polynesian for my son's 8th b-day and they decorated the room with a balloon boquet, brought a small cake, candles, plates and napkins all complimentary to our room. Needless to say I am dissappointed that I am paying more for the room but they do not do anything special for children with birthdays. Well I am still looking forward to our stay. Maybe I will find a local bakery and take the cake to the pool and have our own birthday party there.
