I stumbled upon this site at the beginning of this week, ad lready I've managed to rent points from a DVC member to get a room at the BWV, but I also got the idea from this category to sign up with CR and QR. I've got 8 months before my trip, and already I'm on track for 200 Disney Dollars by the end of next week. I could easily pay for my whole trip's expenditures by then.

Awesome!

Does anyone know if Victoria and Albert's take Disney Dollars? Or BWV Room Charge? :) We were already planning on doing Chef's Table there (got like a zillion reminders on the 180 day out date) and it would just be so awesome to not even have to pay for it with "my own" cash.

So, thanks again :)

Disney Dollars can be used everywhere on Disney property.

COngrats on all the good stuff and welcome to the DIS!

Goodness Gracious!! :earseek: Congratulations!! :cheer2: I have about 3 months before our next vacation to Disney and have been doing CR, and QR for 3 weeks, I have no idea how you could have that much in such a short time. Any advice?! Congratulations again, that's what I am hoping for to help with our next trip!!

Welcome! The best thing to do with Disney Dollars is to apply them to your room account upon check-in and then use your room key to pay for your dinner at Victoria and Alberts and/or any other charges you make in the park or at BW (or any other resort for that matter). Hope this helps! :wave2:

There is no secret to how I racked up so much so quickly - I run a business, and have built up the discipline (ie: Put a bright pink post-it note on my monitor) to check QR and CR before I make any online purchases to see if I can get any "cash back", and which will give me more (CR needs 202 points per dollar if you're headed for the $50GC, I haven't seen anything QR doesn't beat yet).

As for applying them to the room, yeah, that's what we were planning on doing. I'm a big proponent of the room charge, especially since my yearly trip is to the Food and Wine festival. I've seen too many people drop cash on the ground without realizing it, and the more things you are carrying with you while you're trying to balance a glass and a plate the more likely you are to get into trouble.

If only they could put my annual pass on the room key, it would be perfect.

So, basically, after I found this site and it matched me up with a lovely lady who rented me BWV points for a Boardwalk View studio (yay!) I scrolled down and saw the Rewards forum. I quickly signed up at CR and QR, thinking that any little bit would be helpful. I then realized the potential - I was already willing to spend the $425 or so for the V&A Chef's Table for my DH and my anniversary (first year we've actually planned far enough in advance to have a shot at reservations), and I noticed that I could bring it down from ridiculously expensive to moderately unreasonable. I then realized the potential that I could actually build up the equivalent of an "all expenses paid" trip - after all, I have 8 months to do this and a business that constantly needs supplies.

I have been kicking myself for not finding it sooner, as I buy stuff online ALL the time, for work AND for me.
