we came home from WDW a little heavier!!! Two important things b/f I begin, we were glad that we got the food plan ( 2 adults, 2 children, did not include our 2.9 year old), and so-o proud that we were organized and made all of our ressie's 90 days in advance!!.This is going to be a short , but sweet review, I have alot of wrapping to do ;) !

12/7- we arrived and went to the MK.

Casey's- YUM!! 5 hot dogs, 2 ff's to share, 5 sm. drinks, and small chilly. So hit the spot! Put some of the chilly one the hot dogs, some on the ff's, free cheese at the condament counter along w/ onions, saurkraut, relish, ketchup, and mustard. Paid out of pocket for this meal. It was a little pricey, but it was the start of our vacation so it was ALL GOOD! A-

OPR @ CBR- First of all, I think it was really cute how it had the look of an open market. My DH got a meatball sub, chips, drink, and a cup for the ice cream machine. DS 6 picked a small cheese pizza, chips, drink, cup for i.c., DS 9 and myself- double bacon cheese burgers, ff's, drinks, and cups for the i.c. Our DD 2.9 was sound asleep and could not wake her! The food was o.k., cafe food. B-

12/8

Trails End Bufffet- our boys love this place. You can't beat the price( we paid out of pocket for this, saved our TS for big meals!) Your basic buffet...cute Mickey waffles, yummy breakfast pizza, eggs w/ chez & ham, baked goods. Remeber all you can eat, and to my DH and DS's thats like heaven! I want to say the total cost was between $40/$50 and that included a tip to our very bubbley waitress- sorry I don't remember her name. B+

Whispering Canyon- FUN surroundings! Our waitress "Lazy Susan" was so kind. I had the nachos for an appet. and for a meal the roasted chicken. My
DH and DS's got all you can eat BBQ, and DD was just going to have some of that. The guys meal was huge! They loved it. My meal I think I would have been disapointed if I was paying out of pocket for my chicken dish. Just a few small pieces of chicken, the potatos were good, can't remember the veggie. The drinks- how could I forget...bottomless milkshakes,YUM! At our table we had a choc. one, strawberry, and orange cream. So-o good! For dessert we shared a smore looking creation...so good! My kids had fun with the horse races, singing 12 days of Disney, my sons were 8 lords a leeping, and thank goodness, we didn't need any ketchup! B+

12/9

Lunch w/ Cindy and friends- This was a lot of work. 90 days out, 7 am and 3 days later, but we finally got the ressie. Treated like the royle when we arrived. Cute cheese, fruit, dip and cracker appet. for the kids( DS's split one, DD ,in her Cindy dress, had her own. They gave DH and myself one to share. Lots of yummy fancy appets! For our meals, the kids had pasta, DH had the , drawing a blank on the name, you know, the meat pie, in the puff pastery w/ mash potato's. And I had a big sandwich on foccica bread, w/ homemade sweet potato chips, yum! For dessert the kids had i.c. w/ a small choc. crown on it. And for the adults, a warm blueberry cobbler w/ a lemon i.c.- so-o good! This is where the food plan really helped out. The total would have been close to $150.00. A

12/10

Concorse Steakhouse- Really nice waitress- sorry can't remember her name. For appets- the DS's got shrimp cocktail, and the other got a salad. We got ceasar salad and lobster bisque. DH and myself really didn't care for our appets. For the meals DS's-cheese burgers, DD- tye dye grilled cheese- fun! DH got prime rib, he enjoyed it, and I got the filet, it was tastey. Dessert we got to go, needed to rest our bellys first! We got 2 different kinds, butterfinger cheesecake, and a choc. cake. SINFUL! B

12/11

Sci-Fi for lunch- This really was one of my best meals. For appets we got onion rings and spinach/articoke dip to share. My sandwich that I got for my lunch we so good. It was just a ruben. Marbled bread grilled just right, filled w/ cornbeef, swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing. It was so good I could only eat half. DH ate a steak and portabella sandwich, and the kids ate mac and chez. Again got the dessert to go. BIG FULL BELLY's!! A

Chef Mickeys- Again, one of my kids favorite places to go. Great surroundings with Mickey and friends. The food was good, turkey, prime rib, the best parm. cheese mash potatos, fish. Fun kid food, pizza, Mickey shaped ravioli, and mac & chez. And you know about all the yummy desserts! Even sugar free brownies that were great. Best waiter- Daniel. He helped me whip together a low sugar dessert- thanks Daniel! B+

12/12-last day

both breakfast and lunch @ OPR

PS- alot of the CS we used at the OPR @ the CBR
-enjoyed alot of Mickey i.c. bars, but had enough snack credits to bring home Mickey rice crispy treats for the neighborhood kids!

We have a four year old DS and is he allowed to share if my husband and I both get the All you can eat skillet? I wasn't sure if that was considered a buffet and he needed a sit down ticket from our dining plan or if he can share some of our food? Sounds like you had a great time....can't wait for our trip January 21. Appreciate an answer on the sharing

I am afraid you will have to pay for a four year old at the child's rate at any all you can eat place.

About WCC--since you were on the meal plan--were the milkshakes considered your dessert or beverage?
Thanks!
