Thanks to Shan-man

They've taken away all my alternatives to the 1500 loop. I loved the 900 loop... so convienant to everything.

Why does everything have to made for people with lots of money??? err...

:decides to not finish post::

WAs that a preferred or premium site? Just curious- I really like that site! It seems way way WAY more secluded than the one we had recently. Ours was close to everything but that looks nothing like where we stayed. It's further from the other sites, lots of greenery/trees around you- I love it!

Loop 700 is premium. very close to the settlement, easy walking distance. We do get a cart, although DS#3 turned 16 this year, didn't see the cart to often

Cool. that's an area we might try next time- if it hasn't been changed by then! This recent trip we wanted close to pool and such- but we had our bikes and having a sweet site like that would be worth riding our bikes further to get to the pool! Thanks for sharing about it! :)

Oh Mighty Shan,

When I zoom in and see site numbers, there are usually two numbers for each site. There is also a pointer that results in two black lines at different angles from the site. Also some sites seem to say IN and some OUT. Am I seeing something no one else sees or can you explain what the significance of these things are?

that is a great looking site Team Bradford!! Hope I am so lucky for my trip to the fort in October. how close is this to the bus stop??

Ken, you must have two version of the map file loaded if you are seeing two numbers for each site. Just look for two folders called Fort Wilderness in the list of "Places" in the left pane and delete one... actually, to make sure you aren't deleting the newer version delete them both and download the latest version here. To save yourself from ever having to download another update, you can download the Network version of the file and it will automatically link to the newest data on each use (requires an internet connection, naturally). If you decide to still do manual downloads, just delete the one you have loaded before downloading and opening the newer one. The "In" and "Out" simply refer to whether the site is on the inside or outside of the loop... nothing arcane here! LOL

Hope that clears it up,
:santa:

shan, I checked out the GE 730, awesome! I thought maybe a shot of the north side would be good, now the complete site can be viewed..
