I totally agree! Without our fine service men and woman past and present, we would not have the freedoms we do. I pray for the protection over each and everyone who have and are serving this great country!

I agree Born 2 Fish, but I went one better - I kissed one today!

My DH is a vet from the Vietnam War - yes I'm dating myself, but that's ok. We were married the week he returned from there 46 years ago.

I do appreciate all those that have, are, and will serve our country in this capacity!

To all those who stood watch and manned the proverbal wall, I say Thank You. For those who said (and meant) Not on MY watch, I say Thank You. For those who responded to the call during war or peacetime, I say Thank You. For all those who sacrifice their lives and liberties to protect those people they have never met, the constitution, freedom, and those who cant defend themselves, I say a large and heartfelt THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

As a Desert Storm veteran, I want to take a moment to Thank those who take the time to acknowledge my fellow veterans. It means a GREAT DEAL to us and for some Vietnam veterans, it means more to them than many of us can ever know.

Thank you as a Desert Storm vet. You are so right about the Vietnam vets - they were the 'unsung' heroes at that time through no faults of their own - but have gradually become recognized by some for their great sacrifices.
