While waiting for DW and DS7 to come off the ride (with my rider swap pass itching in my pocket), I somehow stuck up a conversation with one of the CMs who worked in the little play area (not sure what to call it) at the exit of the ride.
We talked about everything from people puking on the ride, to other attractions in the park. When I noticed his college on his name tag, and asked if he was in the college program, he was absolutely shocked I even knew what it was. I mentioned doing a lot of research (including my shout out to the DIS) prior to the trip.
For the rest of the conversation, he was basically talking in an off-stage manner (which was clearly fine anyway). We continued talking, and when I explained that I probably wouldn't get a chance to go on Soarin, since fastpasses were gone, and the line was still 30 minutes long (this was during evening EMH too). He said that everyone really needs to try that at least once, and to hang on for a second. He returned with a ride return pass that he had filled out for me, and my entire group, to go on Soarin.
Now, it turns out that we never actually made it back over that way, but I was still absolutely stunned that he did this, and can't begin to explain how cool it felt!
