I want to go to Disneyland next year. Do you think the chances are good for booking at 7 months out for mid August?

There are certain people on the DISboards who Disney should have on the payroll for all the promotion they do for the various resorts and Parks. DVC Mike is one of them I had wanted to see DL out of curiosity, but after Mike's trip - I find myself needing to see it in person

The 7 month window will most likely be a tough one with so many members & the kids out of school. Good luck with your planning - maybe you can bring the rest of us along for a virtual ride with you next summer.

I have to agree, Mike has me wanting to go to WDL too!

My first Disney experience was Disney Land for my birthday (July 2004), that same year I went to Disney World for my anniversary (Oct 2004). After going to WDW I thought I would never go back to WDL again....I just didn't like it as much....but now after Mikes vaca thread, I need to give it another chance.

Not sure about what the chances are at 7 months but after DVC Mike's TR I'm sure it will be much harder than it would have been had he not gone

I'm looking forward to the trip reports from those people lucky enough to stay at the VGC later this year. My next trip to DLR won't be until May 2011, and I'm looking forward to all the changes at DCA when I come back!

I was thinking DVC Mike should get a commission on all the trips to DL he's inspired. Hopefully we can snag a reservation for mid Oct, 2 bdrm. Of course, that means I have to be up on my vacation weekend at 5:45AM on a Sunday while I'm over at the Mendocino coast. That will be twice this year since we were there when the THV reservations opened up too.
