congrats! I just got mine delivered today! played around a little bit its a lot of fun and after reading everything was able to figure out most of the stuff with only a few boo-boos, but wanted to finish my scrappin first, tomorrow is another day.

I'm thinking of doing some swaps too, but really want to get caught up first, so maybe by fall.

Thanks, I just got my own scrapbooking/craft room so I am excited.

I went to A.C. Moore today to buy the cricut but walked out empty handed. The manager suggested I wait till sunday when it will be $129! I said thanks very much and went to look at the carts. I couldn't figure out which one to get, I want either mickey, mickey font, or maybe the new ocean one but I don't get what it does. Can I not but the words in the waves and fish?

Thanks I hope to start swapping soon but probably not till I start school again. It looks so fun!!!

As for the ocean cart.. I haven't looked at it yet... I've promised myself no more carts for a while.... (unless I find a great sale)....

From what I have seen, the ocean one is mainly making words but it does have some pirate type stuff on it.

Was the $129 price just a regional thing? Or just for some emailers? I got my email and looked at the ads online yesterday and no sale... So, I was just curious, in case I can make the 1-1/2 hr drive again next weekend. I was just up there this Sat. and the machine was $180, but some of the cartridges were 40% off.

I would call and check but the ad was at the front of the store. It say Papercrafting sale. It runs from the 24th til the 30th.

I was just there tonight and it is 129. However there are no carts on sale. They were on sale last week. Too bad I bought mine last week for 179. Oh well, it was worth every penny!
