I have been wanting the Mickey Waffle Maker for a long time. I even considered purchasing it from the Disney Catalog outlet for 39.99. $33.81 PLUS free shipping!!! I couldn't resist.
My picky eater (DS age 7) will be thrilled. When at wdw he starts every morning with a Mickey waffle.

MARY- YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

I love my Mickey waffler!!

I took it to WDW this summer during our stay in the FW cabins, and the kids loved waking up in the morning with Mickey waffles. I didn't get mine for the great price you did, but I did get it on sale. My grandson loves Mickey waffles!

I dropped mine and it is cracked all over, but still usable. I haven't used it a lot lately, because DH is doing Atkins, and that kind of puts a damper on srambled egg and waffle dinner, which was my old stand by!

I just bought one for my DH for Christmas!! He loves Mickey waffles in Disney World....so it's a gift for him even thought part of the gift if me using it to make them for him !!

Thanks for the heads-up. I ordered one for my daughter. Just hope it comes before Christmas.

I love my Mickey waffle maker. I have had it about a year now. The kids think it is great. I use it to make regular waffles and my kids love banana bread. Sometimes, I make banana bread waffles. I use my regular banana bread recipe and make them in the waffle maker. I took the mickey banana breads already made to WDW on our last trip. They keep without fridge.

I used a little Pam so that the batter doesn't stick for the banana bread.

I'd love to have this recipe too! Sounds really yummy! I wonder if there are other recipes for waffles to use for this.

I bought a Disney princess waffle maker on a whim at Home Depot for $29.99. It has a picture of Cinderella and Prince Charming in the carriage.

I had to get one of those Mickey waffle makers too! Merry Christmas to me!

I was going to resist buying this wafflemaker, since I only make waffles a couple of times a year. But I have always wanted one and you all have broken down my resistance. I don't know why this is called a "Budget Board." I seem to spend MORE when I visit here! ;)

Here is the recipe for my banana bread...old family recipe. :)
Sorry I haven't been able to get on the computer sooner.

1/2 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3 bananas, mashed
1/2 c. chopped nuts, optional (I would not add nuts for waffles!)

Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs. Then gradually add flour, soda, powder, and salt. Whip bananas in a separate bowl. Then add whipped bananas to mixture. Put in greased loaf pan, one large or 2 small. Bake about 45 min. - 1 hr. at 350 degrees. Until done in the middle. Can be frozen after baked too.

For waffles, grease waffler a little bit. Mine didn't take as long as regular waffles to cook. Just watch them and by trial and error you will get the timing OK for your waffler. I use my Mickey on and my regular waffle iron. I hope it works for you.

Enjoy.

But they are also offering $25 off a purchase of $125 and free shipping so that may help with the gift giving too!

If this is the Mickey Waffle maker by Villa Ware, I think I got you all beat. A couple of years ago Linens-n-Things discontinued carrying them at our local store and they were marked down on the clearance table. I got the last one.

After final discounts and markdowns I paid something like $9.24 plus tax!

Wow. I am so glad I didn't buy one at the Resorts last month. They were $85+ at Pop Century! I didn't get to DAH at DTD to see if they were similarly priced down there. I wanted to get one as a gift - where is this offer? Is it still good? I'd love to find out! :)

It's at Amazon.

Mickey waffle iron

You don't see the price until after you put it into your cart. Not in stock now, so hope you're not in a super hurry.

Thanks so much! Just ordered it!

I'm not in a huge hurry, it may be a Christmas gift if it arrives in time, but at that price they can wait it out. :)

So glad I found this thread - I was a bit disapointed when I lifted the box at WDW to see how high the price was - just didn't feel as if it was worth it. But for just over $30 (with free shipping) it's not a bad deal at all. :)

Thanks again to everyone, especially jekjones1558!

I want a Mickey wafflemaker for Christmas, so I sent the link to the Amazon website to my parents. I hope they get it for me!:teeth:

I originally asked for a Belgian wafflemaker for Christmas. My DM has been looking all over for one that is reasonably priced. Most of them seem to be $85+!! I had no idea they were so expensive! That's why I am so excited about the Mickey wafflemaker! I guess I have to be patient and see if it is under the Christmas tree for me on Christmas Day!
