Thanks Mousesavers!! Great December Rate @ Thrifty!!

I had to post!

I checked Mousesavers this morning because I was hoping to find a good rental car code.

My 2 Ds's and I are going down the week before Christmas and the lowest car I could find was $214 Intermed. for 8 days thru National.

Since this will be a budget trip (my 4th this year), I looked at all our transp. options and was seriously considering Mears, but I would like to have a car because we have US/IOA AP's also.

Well anyway I reserved an economy with Thrifty for $131 for 8 days (Dec. 16-24th) all tax and fees included!! It's small, but it will get us where we want to go and back so Im thrilled. We had planned on packing light anyway.

I have used Thrifty in Vegas several times but not MCO, but I am a bluechip member and that has always worked great in Vegas, so Im not hesitant at all.

I also booked for our June 2005 trip also. It was $280 for a midsize for 14 days! I was seriously considering driving our van if the rates did not improve, but $280 for 2 weeks is very doable.

That code gives a great rate for minivans too! $330+ with taxes and fees for 10 days in December, 12/15 to 12/25. Does anyone know if there is any way of getting a free additional driver with Thrifty?
