I have been lurking around for a couple of weeks. Just wanted to say thanks for all the info. We have 3 confirmed trips to the Fort this year. With your info, we got a premium site for Christmas last week.

I would agree. I have been on this site just for a few weeks reading all of the good information. We too have our first trip with our children confirmed at FW for December 2008. Thank you everyone for all of the advice!

welcome to you both. Hope you grow to love the Fort as much as we all do !!!

See what happens when we stop using our powers for evil!!!!

Glad to have been helpfull, guys....stick around for awhile and quit lurking....we love new guests!

Sure will try and start posting more - just don't have many answers or experiences to share from the Fort yet. The last time we camped at FW we spent about 8 hours of sleeping time in the camper for a 7 day stay. Did the "Dumbo or Die in a Day" plan each and every day. We have spent the last 8 years getting our girls to the seasoned camper status (that means no whine with the cheese!) and are really looking forward to sharing WDW with them for the first time.

I think we're in the right spot. We like beer and kungaloosh (we need to figure out exactly what that is), otters and peacocks and we love Monty Python Movies---especially "Yellow Beard". I can't wait to see how many people have actually seen that Movie!!!(it might be a cult thing just for my dh)

Since I have seen this in several post, I had to google Kungaloosh to see what it is. Cheers

I own a copy of Yellowbeard on VHS (do you remember what VHS is?)

Welcome! You don't have to be a seasoned Fort to be able to chat here. That comment about no whine with the cheese is proof enough that you'll be appreciated here!!:goodvibes

Ive only camped at the fort once (in a cabin), and fell in love with it before I even got there because of this board. You'll be fine!!:thumbsup2

I've been lurking too & want to thank everyone for the advice! Especially the Kungaloosh recipe on this thread:yay:
