Just got home from a week in sunny CA. The tips you guys have posted here are the best, it really helped us on our trip.
The best advice, was Jedi Training Academy - the signs. I made 1 for my son and 2 more for our friends kids. They had signs and only 1 other boy had a sign - all were picked. When our kids were picked they handed the signs to us. There was a little boy sitting next to them and he really wanted to do it also. I handed the sign to him and he was also picked, his mom cried and thanked me, she said we made his trip. So a big THANKS to sll here for that tip
We stayed at the HoJo. Very nice, building 2 with great view of pool. No problems and we were able to stay and let our son swim until it was time to leave for the airport, even though we had to check out of room by noon. We called a week ahead of time and let them know that there was 3 families traveling together and they were able to put all 3 of us next too each other at the end of a hall - the kids could run back and forth between rooms and not disturb others.
Halloween party - very fun, so much to do - we quickly figured out we needed to pick and choose what we wanted to do, as there was no way to do it all.
All in all a good trip, thanks again for all the great advice
