I want to send out a big Thank You to everyone for all the great information I got from this board. My family and I just returned from our first family trip to DL. This was my DH, DD(3) and DS(1) first time ever going. We had an amazing time. It could not have been a better trip and a lot of that is thanks to the tips and advice I read on this board. Even though the parks felt pretty busy, we never waited in much of a line. I felt like I really knew what to do- even though I haven't been to DL in about 20 years. Thanks so much!! We have wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

Just wanted to say that I have started my trip report. I wasn't planning on doing one, but I cannot stop talking about the trip and no one around here wants to listen to me anymore.
We had the best time. The kids and I are ready to go back right now. We are already planning our next trip- probably over Halloween. Halloween is DD's favorite holiday, so that would be a blast.

I was able to find places for DS to nap. On Sunday I tried to see if he would nap in the stroller. I saw so many other content babies doing it. That didn't work for him, so I ended up going to the Baby Care Center at DCA. No one else came in the entire time I was there, so that worked out fine. However, the chairs are soooo uncomfortable. The rest of the week, we were able to go back to our hotel room for nap- thankfully. On our last day, I had to improvise yet again. We had to check out at 11 and DS's nap time is noon, so I held him in the lobby of the Wonder tower at DLH. This is where our room was, so I felt okay staying there. It was noisier than the Baby Care Center, but much comfier. I am just thankful he was able to nap.

I'm glad you were able to find places! It seems so weird that the baby center chairs were uncomfortable. Our DD took a nap in her stroller the other day and I was thinking of your original post about it and hoping that DD will be able to nap like that while we're in DL.

Sounds like you had a Blast. I'm so looking forward to going on our trip in Dec. it's not going to get here soon enough. Right now we're in the planning on saving money stage for the trip. LOL
