A while back I'd posted that I was looking for a place to have
my hair cut and colored and I'd mentioned I was thinking about doing it platnium blonde with purple tips. EsmareldaX, I THINK it was you who mentioned that I might in the near future need to get a job and what would I do then.
I think I told you all I had no plans on working in the near future and would cross that bridge should I come to it.
Well, I never did get my hair done beacuse of some of the other stuff you guys said and now I have to say thank you.
It seems that I am once again, a working gal. I wasn't looking but I found a job that is going to require me to represent a company to clients and I'm quite sure the purple highlights wouldn't have gone over too big.
So, thanks again for all the good advice you all gave me on that thread! It's weird how the world works...

Gepetto was it you? Forgive me. I wasn't sure and was too lazy to go back and look. Thank you again for the sound advice.
No, he never took the job. It was only on the weekends and he really wanted to spend his weekends at home with his family not bouncing at a club...He did get a raise at work though so it's all good.

It's actually not an office job. I'm the regional manager for a mother's Helper services. I'll do most of the work from home which is PERFECT for me and my situation.

Craigslist. I actually applied to be one of the helpers but as she and I got talking I asked her if she had ever considered going into Hoboken. Everyone there is either pregnant or has small kids. She said she hadn't and the more we talked the more she liked the idea. At the end of it all, she offered me the manager position for that area. I didn't think I wanted to go back to work, but the idea of bring some money into the house and actually DOING something makes me very excited.
