About 5 months ago I came to this thread and asked a silly question about whether my 11 y/o DD w/ ASD might be able to take a picture outside of Francks. Well, y'all encouraged me to go ahead and ask DFTW- and gosh, did things turn out even more amazing than I expected. Two weeks before our trip I got a call from Debbie and Frances, and they had planned an amazing tour of both Francks and the Wedding Pavillion. I was so blown away by the incredible generosity of spirit and sweetness of those ladies, and my daughter is even more sure than someday she's going to get married at WDW! If you'll indulge an amazed momma, I can share a coupld of pics- she's wearing the Bride Ears that the girls gave her- and they gave her a honeymoon totebag too, which she insists on carrying everywhere LOL!

She had the most amazing time, and the memories are some I will cherish forever. It wouldn't have been possible without you all, so I wanted to take the time to come back and say a heartfelt Thank You!

Oh, this is just adorable. :lovestruc It must have felt like a real, live fairy tale for her. :) I am so happy for you!!!

I remember when you posted the first time! I'm so glad you got to have a tour and the pictures are adorable. Imagine if/when she *does* get married at the WP ... how cute would it be to blow those photos up and display them at her bridal shower! :thumbsup2

Aw, you girls are sweet- and um, yes, there are oh say 20-30 I'm thinking would look great in a slide show presentation at a shower or something- maybe, not that I've thought about it at all or anything... ugh- I'm such a mom!

It really was a fairy tale come true for her, she even impressed the girls in the studio- she ran in all excited and immediately knew exactly which dresses were the two inside- they had to check to confirm she was right LOL.

That is so sweet! I remember your originial thread too and I'm so happy to hear that it all worked out. What a special day that must have been for your daughter. The pictures are just adorable!

What amazing photos!!! I am so pleased your DD was sprinkled with pixiedust by DFTW and that she had such a wonderful time!!! She is the cutest of princesses too!!!

AWWWWW......

I Love her outfit too!!!

She is adorable!!!! :goodvibes

This really made me smile! DD looks adorable in the ears and her dress!

I'm so happy DFTW took care of you and set up a tour. That's wonderful! pixiedust:

Ahh, I remember when you originally asked, and as we say around here "shy bairns get nowt" I am a blubbering mess looking at your gorgeous photos. What an amazing experience for your wonderful daughter. x

that is just about the most adorable thing i've seen all week. it's going to be a neat moment when she's ready to get married and you're able to think back on it and share those pictures. The first thing my parents and sister said when we told them we wanted to get married at WDW was that they remembered how excited I was the first time i saw the WP, and that at the age of 8, i told my parents i'd get married there. It adds such a special layer of sentiment to an already wonderful memory. I'm so happy they did this for you and your daughter.

Thanks everyone- I appreciate the comments on the outfit, I really enjoyed sewing it- and the princesses were so sweet to her later that day, too :)

It was an amazing experience, and I will treasure it always.

You made that outfit by yourself! Wow! You are talented, it is so adorable! Congrats to you and your daughter on being able to share that magical moment together! These pictures are precious!

I hope you can share another moment like this on her real wedding day, maybe even recreate some of the photos that you took!

Adorable :lovestruc That was really amazing of you to plan that for her :)

Yes, I also remember the original post and am so glad this worked out. Disney is just so wonderful and I am constantly reminded why I love Disney so much. Love the pictures also.

Linda
