Hi everyone!! I got to come home from the hospital yesterday for a few days. We will be having Macy's memorial service on Monday and then I will be going back into the hospital for another 3-10 days for skin grafting (yuk!) I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all the prayers, cards, gifts, donations, Everything! You are an amazing group and I just don't know what I would do without you in my life.
Just to update everyone... I am THE worst case of smoke inhalation that Chilldren's Hospital has ever had. They told my parent's that best case scenario would be me getting off the venitaltor in 10-14 days, but with all the Prayers sent up around the world, I came HOME In 10 days!!!!!
I KNOW, KNOW, KNOWWW that it was the power of prayer that has helped me sooo much! I was burned 22% of my body, centered on my face, hands, and arms and my face almost looks brand new already. I have no hair, but that's okay. I am alive.
I haven't had a chance to read the message boards, and probably won't till after I'm out of the hospital the next time, but I look forward to reading all your posts and concerns. I did read a little bit of the newspaper article someone posted and of course the paper had some of it wrong. Please don't believe everything you read. My arms are wearing out already typing. I probably won't be back on before I go in either. I just wanted to stop by and let everyone know how VERY MUCH I apprreciate you all. I am in pain and I will always miss my daughter, but my spirits are good right now. We are dealing the best we can. Please conitnue to pray us through this difficult time.
Hugs,
Sherry

I am so sorry for all you have been through. You and your family will continue to be in my prayers.
Sherry.
You are going to be in physical and emotional pain for a while.
