We got back last week from our 8 day trip to WDW, and I just want to (a) thank the members here and (b) reiterate how important ONE tip might be.

Right after you get your tickets (and I did it with my photopass plus also), TAKE A PICTURE of the ticket!

Here's my story: I have a baggalini messenger bag, which has a handy dandy zip pocket in the strap (right between the "girls" so nobody is getting in there). This is where I keep our tickets - easy access, nobody else getting them. DH and I had planned a date night at F&W in Epcot, kids going to Sandcastle club so we were walking in the International Gate. Because it was date night and I wouldn't need my dozen extra "essentials" that I kept in my messenger bag, I only used my little wallet bag.

You see where I'm going, right?

We dropped kids off at Sandcastle (btw this was NOT where we were staying - we were 20 min away) and headed over to IG. My husband asked me where the tickets were and my face fell immediately. Panic set in - I saw visions of us rushing back to the hotel for our tickets, wasting an hour of our evening out. He thought I was joking, but when he saw my face he knew I was serious.

And then I remembered! The pictures!

I went to the ticket booth and asked if she could help me, explained the situation and held up my smartphone picture of our tickets. The wonderful CM printed up new tickets for DH and I and we were on our way with just that short 5 minute speed bump for new tix. WHEW!

Good for you--I have a similar one, so yes writting those numbers down or taking a pic is terrific. We were in flight over Alabama on our way to WDW when my MIL remembered our MNSSHP tickets at home on her desk. I smiled and told her "Its OK. I have all the numbers written down and we just have to stop at the gate." I don't think she believed me but thought I was awesome when I had all the numbers and they just re-issued the tickets pronto.

This was unlike the time I let my DL expire the day before we flew out of NEw Orleans...We had just checked the bags and she looked at my license, "Oh dear, we have a problem.....DH was so upset, but he loved me enough to stay with me while other families boarded the plane. My father had to drive to our home to get my Passport, then drive two hours to New Orleans to hand it to me....yep, best Daddy ever!! I of course paid for his gas and just handed him the Chevron card. Even exchange in my mind--plus lots of Thank you kisses.
