I just wanted to say thank you to all of you wonderful WISHers. I found this board last year at this time. I was new to running and needed so much help, which I found here. There are so many kind, encouraging, supportive people here and I am grateful to have found you.

I appreciate all the support and encouragement I have received here as a newbie as I slowly built up my miles, dealt with injuries, and eventually got out on the marathon course. And the support there was fabulous as well!

Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for helping me go from not being able to run a mile to being able to run a marathon!

Although I don't have nearly as much experience as many of you have, I am happy to offer any advice, support, and encouragment that I can to my fellow WISHers.

Thank you! It's nice to hear that others can go from less then a mile to a marathon. Gives me encouragement.
