We have recently come back from a 21 day stay in orlando.
On the fifteenth day and after a large breakfast and large amounts of water we headed for the magic kingdom on 9th july.
After watching the castle forecourt stage we headed for frontierland and going over the bridge my daughter felt dizzy and suddenly fainted due to the very intense heat.
Suddenly a man appeared,,not a cast member ,but what I think was a member of the public and quickly saw to her and comforted her until the first aiders arrived.he was very assured and helped us with our daughter. The wdw first aiders arrived and took over.
I shook the mans hand and thanked him and after 30 minutes my daughter was fit to resume her adventure.
The knight in shining armour disappeared too quickly and i would like to thank him on here for what he did.
Its a long shot ,but if anyone knows of this incident and this man in shining armour please reply because without his help god knows what would have happened,,we are very grateful.

What a kind stranger. That is nice and comforting to know that there are nice people around.

He may have been an undercover WDW security person - posing as a tourist.

he disappeared ever so quickly.
he could have been my daughters guardian angel.
Appeared from nowhere and just vanished.

OOOOOOhhhh goose bumps...

I love angels...

Glad your daughter was ok and that there was someone there watching out for you guys!

The nicest things Ive ever been able to do for a fellow disney lover on vacation was to share our sunscreen with a fam who looked like their dd's scalps were burning to a crisp at Ariel's Grotto, and squeeze in a little tighter at our patch of pavement to allow another shorty a curb-side view of the afternoon parade.

WDW sometimes brings out the best in people::MickeyMo

Or the worst...

Glad to hear you had a positive experience...Wish everyone was like your angel.

I married an angel, and I've seen proof many times. Last September while staying at the GF, DW and I were on our way to the bus stop. I noticed a woman who appeared to be drunk, but my wife realized that she was having a diabetic attack of some sort. She pointed her out to me, and I caught her just as she was starting to fall. We stayed with her for thirty minutes or so until the paramedics arrived. She couldn't speak, but we did go through her purse to get identification, and my wife discovered her cell phone. On a hunch, my wife redialed the last call she had made; her husband answered the phone. We were able to relay the info and her whereabouts to him. She had gotten dizzy at MGM and had told her husband and kids that she was going back to the resort. She must have become disoriented, because they were staying at the Wilderness Lodge. She got off at the Grand Floridian and it was there that we found her. Fortunately, we were there to help her out. The folks at Disney were exceptionally good to us. When we got back to our room that night, a fresh plate of Chocolate Chip cookies and milk, as well as a plate of Strawberry Tuxedos was waiting for us. The cookies were from the family, and the Tuxedos were from the resort. It was very thoughtful of them both! Sometimes the guardian angels in all of us get a little treat for the kindness!

What a kind man. It's so nice to hear about truly good people still in WDW who will take time out of their day to help someone as opposed to the people who are worried whether 2 people "cut" in line ahead of them to re-join their family (GASP!) making their wait time 3.5 seconds longer for that ride!
