after I've listened the last e-mail show, I wanted to thank you Kevin for remembering us... the podcast listeners here in Europe, even though we are far our heart is with the DIS:love: .
P.S. to other fellow European listeners: didn't you felt excited when Kevin mentioned you on the show ??? I did:cutie:

:lmao: You were the first person i thought of when Kevin mentioned a listener from Italy!!

It's great how the podcast has such a worldwide range of listeners :)

:goodvibes

Oh I havent listened yet - shame on me :goodvibes

Would you class Scottish as European? :lmao: :lmao:

Did we all get podcast cruises? :rotfl:

Sadly, only those south of Newcastle and North of Birmingham did ;)

Listened to the podcast where they ate all the treats you sent them the other day, such fun :)

I felt realy excited when he mentioned The Netherlands......
It's cool that they remember you and where you from.

A question for my fellow european listeners:
How expensive is it to call to the USA for you???
For me from the Netherland to the USA is very cheap, i pay for a call something little less then 10 dollarcents a minute.

i don't know the rate, but it's pretty cheap...
i think it's much less for us to call the USA then for them to call us..

i just looked up one company's rates.....for calls to the US, most countries in europe and some in the far east it costs 3.5 cents....
but that's just one company..
i know we have a deal with one of the long distance companies here for calls just to the US at a very cheap rate...maybe 2 cents/minute?

international calling is very very cheap here...
which makes sense...we're very dependent on communications with the 'outside' world..

also the phone companies here have to compete with broadband communications, which are very widespread here...

Think it varies - my mum has friends in Miami and Boulder and has a feature in her phone bill where she pays a small fee per month and it brings the cost of calling the US right down!!

your mum should do what mine does..
when she's visiting here, she talks with her friends for free on skype...
she says the quality is excellent..

it's very funny....my mom is 81 years old....she and all her friends are computer 'experts' so that they can keep in touch with each other no matter where in the world they are...

I got excited when they mentioned Australia.. not quite Europe but still very far away

Haven't listened to the show yet, just downloading it now :thumbsup2

You get everywhere Andre ;)

claire xx :goodvibes
